Hi, I’m Stephanie Anderson, a mama, pediatric therapist, and the founder of A Fun Therapy!
I have been practicing occupational therapy since early 2016, and working with children has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I originally began my career path in nursing school, but once I discovered occupational therapy, everything clicked. I switched paths and have never looked back. I specialize in pediatrics and have experience supporting children and families in home-based, school-based, and outpatient clinic settings.
I’m deeply passionate about helping make the East Valley a more inclusive and welcoming place for all children and families. Through play-based therapy, parent education, and sensory-friendly community spaces, my goal is to help children feel safe, seen, and capable exactly as they are.
I’m also a neurodivergent business owner, which means I bring more than professional training to my work. I bring lived experience. I understand firsthand what it’s like to need accommodations, to navigate a world that is not always designed for how your brain works, and to learn differently. That perspective shapes how I connect with children, support families, and advocate for meaningful inclusion.
At A Fun Therapy, we celebrate differences, build skills through joyful, child-led play, and focus on progress over perfection. Connection always comes first, and every child’s nervous system, strengths, and needs are honored.
Every child deserves to belong, and I am honored to walk alongside families as their children grow and learn.
