Stephanie Anderson

Hello! I wanted to give you a face and a name for the magic behind the scenes here at A Fun Therapy. My name is Stephanie Anderson and I have been practicing occupational therapy since early 2016. Working with children has always been my passion since I was old enough to care for others. I was in nursing school when I discovered Occupational Therapy and switched career paths, and I am so glad I did! I specialize in pediatrics and have experience in home-based, school-based and outpatient clinic therapies.  

I started incorporating equine movement into my sessions in 2021 after many years of longing to be here! When I was in school, the very first assignment they had me complete was a paper on what my dream job would be. I wrote about how I had always loved the idea of animal-assisted therapy but hippotherapy was my ultimate goal. 

I have had the pleasure of working alongside phenomenal therapists of all disciplines who were eager to teach me new ways to help my clients be more independent. I am proud to say, I am now pursuing becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist! It is a dream to be able to provide both occupational and speech therapy services to families here in the East Valley.
